Testimonials from our students

  • Quote from Julia Oppermann: "The programme is primarily constructed in an interdisciplinary way; the wide spectrum of seminars allows you to pursue your academic interests precisely. In rather small seminars, you will develop close contact with the other students as well as with the supportive instructors in Hanover. And the double degree programme with Södertörn and Rome offers an exceptional opportunity for all students!"
  • Quote from Tuğrul Çağatay: "This is a dynamic programme which gives students a chance to follow their academic enthusiasm in a broad field of study with the guidance of competent and respected tutors. Not only acquiring theoretical knowledge but also obtaining practical experience are the most crucial and valuable features of this programme."
  • Quote from Lena-Sophie Schlehufer: "The master's program offers an incredibly great opportunity to go deeper into an approach to religious studies. Because of the wide range of courses offered, one can expand one's previous knowledge and get to know completely new approaches and subject areas. It is very enriching that the courses are so small. So you can learn a lot from each other and the different backgrounds and motivations for the study. In addition, this international master's program opens up many new perspectives, even apart from a European view. Due to the small number of students, intense discussions can develop in the courses and learning and working together is extremely interesting. In addition, you are very close and well supervised by the professors and benefit enormously from the different focuses of the lecturers."

Definition: Admission regulations

For study programmes with a restriction on admission, the formal admission requirements are definded in a so-called "Zugangs- und Zulassungsordnung" (admission and special language regulation). These regulations define in detail whether, for example, an internship or an entrance examination is required to apply for a specific Bachelor's or Master's degree programme. They are in German language only. However, we provide translations for information purposes only. In the event of any inconsistency between the German version and the English version, only the German version shall apply.
