First-year students in the Master's programme Religion in the Public Sphere
The Institute for the Study of Religions welcomes the new students of the international Master's programme Religion in the Public Sphere with an introductory event on Tuesday, 15.10.2024 at 10 a.m. in Appelstraße 11a in room A401.
Programme:
- 10:00 Welcome and information about the master's programme
- 12:30 Joined lunch in the canteen
During this event, we will welcome new students to the first semester of the international master programme Religion in the Public Sphere (RelPub). We will provide information about the study programme and introduce the Institute for the Study of Religion as well as the people teaching courses in the programme. And, of course, you will get the chance to ask any question that comes up. The setting is rather informal, one of the aims being to get to know the university, the study programme and the people behind it.

Fresher's week Organised by the Student Council
The Religious Studies Student Council
The Student Council for Religious Studies/Values and Norms is the elected representative body for all students at the Department of the Study of Religion. In addition to its role as a point of contact for questions of all kinds, it organises the Freshers' Week, guides first-year students and provides initial orientation.

Welcome by the Religious Studies student council:
In addition to snacks and drinks, the student council offers first help with organizational and technical questions, distributes freshman bags and offers the opportunity to network and exchange ideas together.

Thursday, 17/10/2024 at noon:
Campus tour with the student council:
Together with senior students of the institute, the most important locations for studying are walked through and at the end there is lunch in the canteen.
Meeting point: in front of the institute for the Study of Religion (Applestraße 11a)
Thursday 17/10/2024 at 7PM: Pub evening and/or kiosk tour with the student council
